Two non-campaign related notes

One - Bravo has 12 hours of The West Wing on today. Makes for good background noise for my phone-calling today.

Two - on CBS Sunday Morning yesterday, I heard the sad news that Julius Schwartz, an editor at DC Comics had died. Schwartz was the DC editor that retooled the the entire hero stable from the WWII era and updated them for the 'modern' age. Comics were an important part of the early imaginations of many children in this country, and also an early exposure to concepts like cooperation, integrity, diligence, and resolve. I read his stuff. I'm saddened to get word of his passing.
