In a random interval recurring series on DotyBlog, welcome to Episode 2 of Do You Know Where Your Dog Is?The 500 block of Eastwood Drive has been home this morning to a neutered male black lab mix, with a narrow flash of white on his chest and an infected/damaged right eye. He appears well fed, is well-mannered, rode in our car to Orchard Hill to be scanned for a microchip (nope), and aside from a drinking problem (involving submerging about half his face to drink water, thus splashing it mightily about), he seems a great dog!!
Photos will post shortly (both our digital cameras are awaiting battery recharge).

UPDATE:
We have Signs up around the neighborhood (hopefully some have come here from those signs).
The dog has been taken to the vet to check on a yucky eye. If you think this is your dog, that eye will be one of the questions I have for you (along with what part(s) of him aren't black).
For the purposes of the vet visit, he has the temporary name U.N. Owen - a reference to the Agatha Christie story variously titled And Then There Were None... or Ten Little Indians
